Summary

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and resourceful Director Of Product Design to join our team. As Director Of Product Design, you will lead the design of all of our systems. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid manner, based on your location within New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate closely with the Product team and other stakeholders to help implement new features and services

  • Be responsible for leading projects from design to implementation

  • Learn and champion best practices in code design and architecture

  • Coach and mentor fellow engineers and team members

  • Work with our Engineering leadership to support and grow the culture of our engineering team

For this role, we're looking for...

  • 8+ years of experience designing large scale software systems for mobile and web.

  • Experience with design tools Figma and Adobe Suite.

  • 3+ years of leading product design teams and managing multiple direct reports that span junior to lead level

  • Demonstrated history of driving impact through UX solutions to meet key company OKRs and business metrics

  • A hands-on leader with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously in leading multiple work streams and design initiatives

  • A track record of championing what’s best for the user while balancing the needs of the business

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate a design vision to any audience within the organization

  • Proven track record of delivering products to market and iterating on those products over time to ensure success 

  • Portfolio or case study samples that showcase the products you’ve delivered to market, as well as the design processes that led to their launch

Compensation

  • Base compensation: $100,000 - $120,000

  • Equity negotiable based on experience
